Mirjam Verhoeven, Chief Information Officer at De Volksbank N.V., is responsible for IT and Change of the bank and its brands ASN Bank, BLG Wonen, RegioBank and SNS. She is the leading person in the banks change programs, because all the processes are digital and the banks innovation is mainly driven by new technologies. Recently she launched the Technology Centre. In this Centre, De Volksbank will be working on new technologies that fit social banking. Mirjam studied Information Management at University of Tilburg and Industrial Engineering at the Technical University Eindhoven. She started her career in the ICT at CapGemini and moved on to work as a consultant at KPMG Consulting, World Class IT. There she led the business redesign programmes, particularly within the social security system and the financial sector. At De Volksbank, Mirjam has held various roles being responsible for IT, Marketing and Digital Media. Mirjam is committed to encourage more girls and women into ICT, through for example VHTO to inspire more girls to take up careers within ICT.
