Jeanine van der Vlist
After attaining an HEAO degree in business IT, in 1987 Jeanine van der Vlist chose to join ICL Nederland (now Fujitsu Services). From 1998 Van der Vlist served as General Manager, where she led the services organisation with a team of 350 people at the age of 34.
Van der Vlist was ready for a new challenge after working for ICL for thirteen years. In 2001 she moved to Dell, where she began as Director of Home & Small Business and then became Country Director Netherlands.
2006 was the year Van der Vlist became CEO of mobile provider Worldmax. When Jeanine van der Vlist was approached in 2009 to take on the position of CEO at Alcatel-Lucent, she took the opportunity and made the switch. In October 2010 readers of Computable magazine voted her CEO of the Year.
She relinquished her position as Alcatel-Lucent Nederland CEO in 2013 to become Managing Director B2B at Essent. This gave Van der Vlist responsibility for the delivery of energy to the medium-sized and large corporate markets.
Since April 2015 she has been part of Eurofiber, a provider of high-quality digital infrastructure, first as Commercial Director and then, since June 2016 as Managing Director. With this position Jeanine van der Vlist has opted for the flexibility, dynamism and entrepreneurial drive of an organisation, which is growing strongly and where she can operate more closely to the business and provide direction to its activities.
Alongside this work Van der Vlist acts among other things as a member of the Supervisory Board of BDR Thermea, on the Advisory Committees of a number of startups and on the board of Worldgranny.
