Hanneke Stegweg

Hanneke knows what it’s like to lose stuff. Often. As early as 2009 she daydreamed about a central place for lost & found items everywhere, but nothing happened. In 2012 she took it upon herself to make this world a happier place for ‘losers’. For years she worked in corporate logistics, so she knows about global solutions, supply chain management and data flow.

In 2013, Hanneke won the “The Next Woman Startup award”. The NextWomen is a community of investors, entrepreneurs and advisers that supports the growth of female entrepreneurs and startups.

In May 2015 a crowdfunding campaign was successfully completed. The target was achieved in 6 days and iLost picked up 238% of the target amount. A total of 238.359 euros is invested in iLost.

In September 2015, Hanneke won the LOEY Starters Award, a yearly award for the best starting online entrepreneur in The Netherlands.

The next step for iLost is to expand internationally and Hanneke will start a new investment round in the nearby future.
